UPDATE: Victim in fatal Candia crash identified
CANDIA - A Raymond man who died in a one-car crash on the westbound side of Route 101 on Sunday morning has been identified as 56-year-old Robert Lank.
According to police, Lank was travelling at a high rate of speed given the slippery highway conditions when he lost control of his 2006 Hyundai Sonata. The car left the highway, went airborne, and came to rest on its roof in a wooded area.
There were no signs of impairment or cell phone use, police said. The right traveling lane and breakdown lane were closed for approximately two hours as a result of the crash.
