UPDATE: Termination of Nashua North field hockey coaches justified, board rules
NASHUA — The Board of Education sided with the athletic director's decision to fire Nashua High School North's field hockey coaches on Wednesday.
Kristine Tingley and Karen Gagnon were dismissed on June 13, but they believe they were wrongfully terminated because they weren't given a specific reason for their dismissal, according to the Nashua Telegraph.
The coaches are alleged to have used profanity towards athletes and treated them poorly, which the school received negative feedback for.
The Board of Education sided with the school and believed the termination was appropriate.
