UPDATE: Students, neighbors being told to stay inside in area of Londonderry incident

LONDONDERRY - An incident between police officers and an unidentified person is going on at 2 Currier Drive.

UPDATE: SWAT standoff in Londonderry started with an email, 'In 2 minutes, I'll be dead'

Students at Moose Hill, Matthew Thornton, Londonderry Middle and Londonderry High School are being told by school officials to stay inside. Officers are also telling neighbors at the scene to stay inside.

Because Pillsbury Road has been closed, afternoon kindergarten students arriving by bus could not access Moose Hill and were dropped off at Matthew Thornton and walked to their school by faculty and staff, said Londonderry Superintendent Nate Greenberg.

"All of these actions were precautionary in nature," Londonderry Superintendent Nate Greenberg said.

Greenberg said parents of students on bus routes affected by related road closures are being contacted directly about making alternative arrangements to get children home.
