UPDATE: Street cleared on Riverside Drive in Nashua

NASHUA — Eversource New Hampshire cleared the scene and opened Riverside Drive in Nashua as of 4:40 p.m. Thursday.

An accident involving two tractor trailer trucks and an excavator resulted in utility lines and poles being brought down onto three vehicles and the trucks on Riverside Drive.

Access was shut down to businesses on the road, located near the Nashua Police Department, Panther Drive and Nashua High School South.

The poles went down around 12:30 p.m. and Nashua Police among others were without power for much of the day and will likely continue to be without it until approximately 7 p.m. according to Eversource.

The accident was due to a tractor trailer accident. There were no injuries.
