UPDATE: Stabbing death under investigation at Drynk nightclub in Manchester

MANCHESTER - The N.H. Attorney General's office is investigating a death at the Drynk nightclub after a man was stabbed there early Saturday morning.

The Attorney General's office says Manchester police responded to the 20 Granite Street club at 1 a.m., where they found a 29-year-old man bleeding from a stab wound to his torso. He was taken to Elliott Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police say witnesses reported the man was assaulted by another patron during an altercation inside the club.

Other people in the club are believed to have seen and potentially recorded the assault on their cell phones. Investigators are asking these people to contact the police department so officers can view the videos or photos.

Anyone with recordings, or photos or information about this incident is asked to contact the detectives at the Manchester Police Department at 603-668-8711, or call the Manchester Police Crimeline at 603-624-4040.

In addition, the public is advised that Manchester police officers will be actively investigating this incident today, which will include being at several locations around Old Granite Street and the intersections of Elm and Cedar Streets. People who are attending Southern New Hampshire University graduations at the Verizon Arena are advised to allow for additional travel time and to park outside of the areas actively being searched.
