UPDATE: Running red light caused car to crash into pet food store, police say

A black Nissan Altima crashed through the store front of Food for Pets at 468 A Main St on Monday morning after the driver didn't notice the light had changed, and collided with another vehicle.

The operator of the Nissan, Diane Lombardo, 51, of Manchester, was driving behind a school bus on South Main Street. Another vehicle driven by Janet Turcotte, 78, of Manchester was headed west on Woodbury Street.

Lombardo did not notice the light turned red, and crashed into Turcotte as she drove onto South Main Street.

Though the cars were damaged, there were no injuries to the people involved.

Lombardo was given a traffic summons for a red light violation.
