UPDATE: Police say 25 kids attended underage drinking party allegedly hosted by 1st-grade teacher

CHESTER - The investigation into an underage drinking party after Pinkerton Academy's prom is ongoing.

Steffany Maloney, 48, and a first-grade teacher at Manchester's Gossler Park Elementary School, is accused of hosting the party at her Chester home.

About 25 kids attended the party, at least 17 could be facing possession of alcohol charges.

Police confiscated large bottles of Captain Morgan rum, grape vodka, Limeritas, Bacardi Dragon Berry, Bud Light, and King Cobra 40 ounce cans of beer from the home.

Police said Wednesday that they have been called to 54 Emerson Road several times, citing issues involving juveniles.

The police told NH1 News that Maloney was issued a summons - which is the equivalent of an arrest - because Maloney had to take care of her own children who were intoxicated.

Chester Police Chief William Burke said the No. 1 priority of the police on scene was "to separate the alcohol from the juveniles and their vehicles.”

Seventeen cars were towed by three towing companies.

According to 2013 Chester tax records, the home is owned by Steven and Steffany Maloney.

Steven Maloney is a former Manchester police officer.

Manchester police Lt. Brian O’Keefe confirmed that Maloney retired from Manchester Police Department in 2014 after 20 years of service and continues to serve as a reserve officer.

He could not confirm the Maloneys’ marital status.
