Amanda Ouellette, 32, of Henniker was driving the vehicle which veered across the center line at the intersections of Union and Bridge Street, hitting a tree-trimming truck.

Henniker Police Chief Ryan Murdough said there was no immediate indication why Ouellette's car crossed the center line.

Initially, police thought the use of an electric device may have contributed to the fatal crash, but Ouellette's phone records did not indicate it was being used at that time.

Murdough did however, state that the cellphone could have been in use- this continues to be an ongoing investigation.
