UPDATE: Police identify man in fatal construction accident at Londonderry Flea Market

LONDONDERRY - Police have identified the man who passed away due to a construction accident on the grounds of the Flea Market.

The man was identified as James Tarr, 56, from Deerfield. Tarr was recently living on the grounds of the Flea Market for free in exchange for doing work.

UPDATE: Man dies on Londonderry flea market grounds after being crushed by dump truck bed

Police said they were called to the Londonderry Flea Market on Avery Road at about 11 a.m. for reports of a man injured.

When they arrived on scene, they found a worker pinned to the ground underneath the bed of a dump truck.

Police said it's unclear at this time whether it was a mechanical problem with the truck or worker error.
