UPDATE: Police ID masked suspect in baseball-bat beating of 3 Manchester residents


MANCHESTER — Police have identified a suspect who beat three people with a baseball bat - including a 15-year-old boy - in Manchester.

Robert Russel, 30, of Merrimack, is wanted on three counts of first-degree assault. Russel is described at 6-feet tall, a thin build, with blue eyes and brown hair.

Manchester police said two adult victims were seated on the back porch when a man wearing a black ski mask armed with a baseball bat approached them at about 1:15 a.m.

Police said the beating continued until the 15-year-old boy was able to take the bat.
