UPDATE: Police arrest juvenile after Memorial High in Manchester placed on lockdown


MANCHESTER - A juvenile has been arrested after Memorial High School was placed on lockdown and two middle schools were placed in secure campus protocol on Thursday, police said.

Jewett Middle School and South Side Middle school also were put in secure campus.

Police said that they are investigating, and they lifted the lockdown around 11:15 a.m.

No one was hurt, and an alderman said that the lockdown was a precaution.
