UPDATE: Pilot in Warner plane crash still listed in 'fair' condition

CONCORD - The pilot whose plane crashed near Stewart’s Peak in Warner Sunday night is still listed as being in fair condition at Concord Hospital as of Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators were on scene Tuesday to try to determine why the 1996 single-engine plane went down.

Both Ralph and the female passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Warner Fire Chief Ed Raymond said the plane crashed into heavy trees and broke into several pieces.
