DERRY — A Derry home has been targeted by vandals for the third time in less than two weeks, and the homeowner believes it's because of the color of her son's skin.

Jaci Stimson had surveillance video of unusual activity involving a car slowing down and then speeding up Wednesday at about 3 a.m., FOX25 reported. Stimson said this was the only activity recorded that might be related to the latest incident.

When Stimson woke up that morning, she said that someone had egged her car, as well as thrown watermelon and fried chicken at it.

Stimson is white, but her 7-year-old son is not.

On Oct. 21 someone etched the n-word into her car, and a few days later part of a wooden saw horse was left in the front yard with "n-word go home" written in marker on it.

Stimson and her son have lived in the area for five years. She told FOX25 that she will not be intimidated and that she's not going anywhere.
