UPDATE: NH couple severely injured in Canada arrive at Boston ICU, starting treatment
Molly McCoy and Ben Cole have arrived safely at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. They were taken immediately to the ICU where they received expert care.
The couple was badly injured after their motorcycle collided with an SUV while vacationing in Halifax, Nova Scotia last week.
According to a GoFundMe account to support the couple, Molly is currently being evaluated by an entire team of experts. Her type of "comprehensive evaluation" was expected to take them into the night.
Ben is also undergoing an extensive evaluation by the top orthopedic surgeon. The page said that the "families are reporting relief and a large dose of adrenaline that has gotten them through the last 72 hours."
Friends and family set up a GoFundMe for them that raised $45,550 to help pay for expenses.
Ben posted a special message for Molly to his Instagram on Tuesday as they were heading to Boston. Take a look.
