Update: Multiple alarm blaze in Keene leads to more than $250K worth of damages
KEENE — Residents of 54 Beech St. lost a third of their building to a multiple alarm blaze.
Around 10:30 p.m Sunday, the Keene Fire Department reported calls of smoke in the building.
Upon arrival, firefighters said that flames were coming from two floors of the 2 1/2 story frame structure.
According to the Keene Fire, all residents were able to make it out safely.
More than $250,000 worth of damage was reported including heat damage to two vehicles and a boat trailer.
The Keene Fire Department credited several local towns for their involvement in controling the blaze.
The department is still investigating the cause of the fire.
