UPDATE: More details emerge about couple in Exeter murder-suicide

EXETER - It was a much quieter scene at a home on Oak Road, one a couple had just started to rent.

Jennifer Noll, the 43-year-old the murder victim, and her companion, Richard Sanderson, had also rented a home in Hampton before moving to Exeter.

Neighbors - and even their landlord - said the couple appeared normal and kept to themselves.

The N.H. Attorney General said Sanderson shot Noll in the head and then turned the gun on himself, committing suicide.

Noll was a veterinarian at the Rockingham Emergency Animal Hospital in Windham. Its staff was unable to speak directly with NH1 News as they are cope with the loss of two colleagues.

The close-knit doctors were already coping with the sudden death of another colleague over the holiday weekend - Dr. Robyn Dolliver.

“The hospital staff is shocked and devastated,” the practice said a statement. “They were both excellent doctors. While this is an exceptionally difficult time, our patients’ needs come first. [We] will work though this time while honoring the legacy of our lost colleagues.”

As for Sanderson, NH1 News was told he preferred to go by the name Larry and appeared to be a loving father to two young children.

The investigation is still ongoing.
