SEABROOK - Police in New Hampshire and Massachusetts are still looking for the man who robbed the Granite State Credit Union on Lafayette Road on Friday morning.
Police said Michael Monroe, 32 of Raymond should be considered armed and dangerous. Monroe is also suspected to be with 29-year-old Rebecca Norton, also of Raymond. Norton has several outstanding warrants and parole violations.
Police were called to the Granite State Credit Union at 68 Lafayette Road in Seabrook Friday after reports that a man gave bank employees a note saying he was armed. No gun was shown.
Surveillance photos identified the suspect as Munroe, who is not only wanted in connection of the robbery but for multiple other violent crimes as well.
There are several law enforcement agencies cooperating in this investigation, include Amesbury, Mass. PD, Epping PD, Massachusetts State Police, Newburyport, Mass. PD, New Hampshire State Police, the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, Salisbury, Mass. PD, Tewksbury, Mass. PD and the U.S. Marshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force.
Anyone with information regarding Munroe’s whereabouts is asked to contact his/her local police department, or Seabrook's Detective Sergeant Dan Lawrence at 474-5200.
