MANCHESTER — Police responded to the Citizens Bank branch at 875 Elm St. for a report of a robbery at about 12:08 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
A suspect - pictured below - made off with an undisclosed amount of cash after handing a teller a note demanding cash, police said. He was reported to have fled on foot. A note was posted on the door saying the branch is closed until further notice.
As seen in the surveillance photo, the suspect is a white man with glasses wearing dark pants and a blue jacket. He is reported to be of average height and weight.
This is now the second Citizens Bank branch to have been robbed in New Hampshire so far this week. A branch in Nashua was robbed Monday after a man without a visible weapon demanded cash from a teller.
Police did not say whether or not the two robberies appear to be connected.
