MANCHESTER — Federal law enforcement agencies have joined the search for Billy Damuel Maldonado Cancel, the man suspected in the murder of Jonathan Vazquez-Ojeda, who was shot on Wednesday.
A judge issued the warrant for the arrest of Maldonado, 23, on charges that he deliberately caused the death of Vazquez-Ojeda.
Maldonado is described as a Puerto Rican male, about 5-feet-7-inches tall, with short dark hair, facial hair, and brown eyes.
He may be armed with a gun, so law enforcement warns the public not to approach Maldonado, but to call police if he is seen.
Maldonado may have left the area, authorities told the Union Leader.
