UPDATE: Farmington shooting suspect turns self in, charged with attempted murder

FARMINGTON - Police have charged a Farmington man with attempted murder after an early morning shooting.

Nathan Douglas Foster, 20, turned himself in at a police station this morning in connection with a shooting that occurred at 154 Ridge Road in Farmington. He is accused of shooting a Farmington man in the upper chest and shoulder area.

Police said the shooting happened after an argument and that Foster fled in a pickup truck stolen from a neighbor. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is believed to be in stable condition, according to police.

Foster arrived at the station at 9:30 a.m. on Monday. He will be arraigned Tuesday.
