UPDATE: Family says missing Thornton man may be depressed over his sister's death

THORNTON - The family of a missing Thornton man have released more information about the circumstances of his disappearance on Tuesday.

Family members say 25-year-old Justin Urbanowicz may have taken off because it is close to the anniversary of his sister's death. They say the siblings were close and he is depressed about it.

He's also had several run-ins with police in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, but they say this is the first time he's taken off without telling anyone.

They say he could be headed to Seekonk, Mass.

Urbanowicz was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue crew neck sweatshirt.

He's roughly 5-feet, 8-inches tall, 175 pounds, has blue eyes and red hair/facial hair.

Anyone with information that might assist in locating Urbanowicz is asked to call the Thornton Police Department.
