The 45-year-old is accused of running a stop sign at the intersection of High and School Streets at about 12:18 p.m. Thursday.

Gov. Hassan was not injured in the crash, but police said Thayer's Volvo had to be towed from the scene.

Symphony NH declined to comment when reached Thursday afternoon, but said a statement is expected tomorrow. They would not say whether Thayer was working at the time of the crash.

No charges have been filed.
