UPDATE: Distracted driver hits exit sign and rolls car on I-93

MANCHESTER - Police have identified the woman who hit an exit sign early Saturday morning and rolled her car over off Exit 6 of Interstate 93.

Police said Angela Sullivan, of Derry, was reaching for her cigarettes when she spilled her coffee and lost control of the vehicle, a 1988 GMC Jimmy.

Police said she hit the Exit 6 off-ramp sign and tried to correct her steering but over compensated, veering off the side of the road, hitting an embankment and rolling the car over onto its roof.

Both she and a passenger, Stephen Sullivan, also of Derry, were outside the vehicle when police arrived.

Police said Angela Sullivan was transported to Elliot Hospital for non-life threatening injuries to her face and arm.

Police said Stephen Sullivan refused medical treatment and was released at the scene.
