UPDATE: Danville suspicious death victim was 'nicest' person, son says

DANVILLE — A woman has been identified by family members in the "suspicious death" investigation after being found dead in a Danville home Monday.

Daniel Boucher said the victim is his ex-wife, Jo-Anne Boucher. According to property records, the home at 23 Caramel Drive is registered to a person of the same name.

Daniel said he and Jo-Anne had a son together, who visited the crime scene Tuesday.

“She was one of the nicest people on God’s green earth,” said Samuel Boucher.

Investigators have not identified the victim.

The Attorney General’s office labeled the death as "suspicious" but few details have been released.

Local police responded to an emergency call Monday and found a deceased person inside.

Investigators could be seen looking at a burn mark on the side of the home. Officials confirmed the State Fire Marshal’s Office is one of the agencies participating in the investigation, but wouldn't give any further details.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. NH1 News will have more updates on this case as they become available.
