UPDATE: Clinton releases statement on fatal crash involving her Secret Service agents

After Secret Service agents were in a deadly crash that killed one man in Wakefield Tuesday, Hillary Clinton released the following statement.

"I was saddened and concerned to hear about the serious accident that occurred last night in New Hampshire in which four Secret Service agents were injured and a passenger in a second car killed. My husband and I send our prayers and condolences to all the victims and their families. We are grateful everyday for the service, dedication, and professionalism of the U.S. Secret Service."

Police said that Bruce Danforth, 45, was driving a Mercury Sable north on Route 16 over Wakefield Hill around 7 p.m. Tuesday night. Danforth's vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a Ford Taurus that was carrying four of her on-duty Secret Service agents.

In a press conference earlier in the day, police said they think Danforth didn't have a valid license and that he may have been trying to pass another car.
