MANCHESTER - Investigators say autopsy results confirm a woman who was shot in the city's North End Sunday night died of a single gunshot wound.
Denise Robert, 62, of Bedford was shot while walking in a low-crime neighborhood, police say.
The Manchester Police Department and the Attorney General's office are investigating the crime.
Officials are asking for the public's help as they piece together the hours leading up to the shooting.
Police say a 911 call came in around 9pm, Roberts was found lying on the side of Ray Street.
A motive is unknown and police are hoping tips from the public can help them locate a white male, between 20-30 years old, with a crew cut, who had been driving a rust colored pickup truck in the area that night.
Robert was well-known and worked as a long-time advertising sales representative for the Union Leader.
If you have information, call the Manchester police department at 668-8711.
