UPDATE: 79-year-old man partially ejected, killed in I-93 crash in Manchester


MANCHESTER — A fatal car crash on Interstate 93 resulted in the death of 79-year-old man Wednesday afternoon.

State troopers, based out of Bedford, responded to the rollover collision just past the Exit 6 on-ramp, at about 2 p.m.

The investigation shows that the vehicle was left on the roadway for an unknown reason and rolled over multiple times until coming to the stop onto the vehicle's roof, police say.

The operator was not wearing his seat-belt during the crash and was partially ejected.

There is no suspicion of drugs or alcohol at this time.

The identification of the man is being withheld at the moment until the family is contacted.
