LANCASTER – In a press conference Tuesday morning new details were released in the tragic circus tent collapse at the Lancaster Fairgrounds.
NH State Fire Marshal, Bill Degnan, said 32 people have reported injuries.
A father and daughter were killed Monday night when the tent collapsed. Autopsies are being performed.
Fire Marshals surveyed the area from the sky in a State Police helicopter Tuesday afternoon.
Severe weather is believed to be the cause of the tent collapse as strong winds and weather advisories were posted just before the 5:30 p.m. performance.
The Walker Brothers Circus is still scheduled to have a performance Wednesday night in Grafton.
