MANCHESTER - Police were called to the 600 block on Silver Street Wednesday night after a neighbor called about an infant suffering from cardiac arrest.
The family lives on the third floor of 631 Silver Street, but when they realized something was wrong with the baby, they ran to their neighbors on the second floor.
When police arrived they found the baby boy dead. He was just 10 months old.
“They lost an infant son, so the family is distraught and it’s very difficult on them,” said Chief of Manchester Police, Nick Willard, about the baby’s parents.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday morning to determine the exact cause of death.
The mother and other family members were home at the time, and foul play is not suspected.
