University System of New Hampshire offices moving to Concord

CONCORD (AP) - The University System of New Hampshire is moving its administrative offices from Lee to Concord early next year in an effort to centralize services and better serve its four schools and their students.

Most of the system's 70 administrative staff work in two buildings in Lee, with a few employees based at the University of New Hampshire campus in Durham.

Chancellor Todd Leach says having employees working in one consolidated space will boost efficiency. The university system's staff provides central support for the board of trustees and the University of New Hampshire, Plymouth State College, Keene State College and Granite State College.

Officials haven't decided yet whether to sell the Lee property or lease it. The move will take place in February.
