UNH student robbed by 3 masked men armed with guns

DURHAM- Police are looking for three suspects after a University of New Hampshire student was robbed at gunpoint.

It happened just after 10 p.m. Saturday night after some of the roommates left the off-campus house on Madbury Court to go downtown.

Bryan Hochberg came home after working in Portsmouth to find three masked men already inside the home.

All three pointed guns at him and brought him around the house. They kicked in any door that was locked and stole thousands of dollars' worth of electronics and jewelry.

Hochberg says they put him on the floor face down with a gun to the back of his head and threatened to kill him if he moved or tried to look at their faces.

“I was more shocked than afraid," Hochberg said. "I held it together while it was all happening, I didn't freak out or anything but there's not much else I can do than just cooperate when you have three guns on you.”

All three suspects wore dark clothing and had their faces covered from the nose down.

Two are described as white men; one about 5'10", the other 6'1", and the third is described as a black man around 5'10".

Anyone with information is asked to contact Durham Police at 603-868-2324.

The roommates told NH1 News they believe the suspects are either students - or friends of students - and may have been at the house at some point at a party.

No one was injured.
