UNH homecoming football game sold out to public

DURHAM — The University of New Hampshire says its homecoming football game against Elon this Saturday is sold out to the general public.
UNH students can continue to pick up their free tickets to the game at the Whittemore Center Box Office through Friday at 5 p.m.
The capacity of Cowell Stadium is limited because of ongoing construction of the new Wildcat Stadium, which is scheduled to open next year.
The home opener against Central Connecticut State last Saturday also was sold out. The athletic department has made modifications since last week to modestly increase stadium and parking capacity.
School officials say tickets for future games this season remain, but are selling quickly.
