Undocumented Manchester family applauds President Obama's decision
MANCHESTER- Thursday night a feeling of relief flooded the Manchester living room of undocumented couple Manuel and Gloria Ochoa Valdez.
"It's emotional for me because what I saw tells me what Obama is going to do," said Manuel. "Therefore I know what's going to happen."
Valdez and his wife crossed the Mexico-United States border 16 years ago.
Since then, they have raised two children, 5 -year- old Samantha, who's a U.S. citizen and 21- year- old Juan, who is undocumented.
"It's time he does something for us because it's sad when we know we can leave but we don't know if we will return home," said Gloria Valdez of President Obama's announcement.
