Two of the men who testified against Tristan Wolusky in the stabbing death of Aaron Wilkinson said they lied on the stand.
Michael Tatum and Zachary Pinette now say they did not see Wolusky hold Wilkinson down when he was being stabbed and that Wolusky never told either of them to stab or kill Wilkinson. Nor did he "in either words or actions" indicate that he wanted Wilkinson to be stabbed or to die.
Tatum said that as soon as Pinette hit Wilkinson in the legs with a machete, Wolusky got off Wilkinson and stood to the side.
Pinette said he does not know who stabbed Wilkinson first, but it was either Pinette or Tatam.
As a result of these new statements, Wolusky's lawyer, Mark Sisti, is asking the court to set aside the verdict and order a new trial based on this new evidence.
