Two suspects in Sanbornton burglary identified after being pulled over by Franklin police

SANBORNTON - Police investigating a reported burglary on Calef Hill Road got an assist from the Franklin police who'd stopped a car the same night that appeared to be carrying the stolen items.

Sanbornton police say the burglary was reported on April 1, and a television, Blue Ray player and other items were reported stolen. Police had responded to an alarm at the address around 11 p.m. the night before but saw no signs of a burglary at the time.

About an hour later, however, Franklin police stopped a car and when Sanbornton police checked in with their Franklin colleagues, they were able to identify two suspects.

After getting arrest warrants, Lebanon police arrested Jamie Judkins, 42 and Tristdonna Copp, 36, both of 125 Renihan Meadows in Lebanon, on Monday.

Judkins was charged with burglary and Copp was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary. Police say most of the stolen items have been recovered.

Judkins was released on $25,000 personal recognizance bail and Copp was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail. Both are scheduled to appear in Franklin District Court on May 9.
