Two seriously injured in crash in Canterbury, NH, police say


CANTERBURY - A man and a woman were seriously injured when the car they were in crashed into trees on the side of Interstate 93 on Sunday, police said.

The pair, who were thrown from the car, were taken to Concord Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

There also were two children in the car who were unharmed, police said.

After an investigation police charged the driver, Joseph Nelson, 24, of Franklin, with felony driving under the influence of drugs.
