Two sent to hospital after early morning crash in Rochester

ROCHESTER — Two drivers were sent to the hospital Friday morning after a crash in Rochester.

William Poirier, 27, and Kerry Tuttle, 57, both of Rochester collided at the intersection of the Rt-16 exit 15 and Farmington Road.

At about 6 a.m., when Tuttle turned left at the end of the exit ramp, the cars collided.

Both drivers were transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

A small section of Farmington Road was closed for about 30 minutes.

Both vehicles were extensively damaged and were towed from the scene.

Poirier was charged with failure to obey traffic control devices.
