Two people arrested in Derry, charged with drug crimes
DERRY - An investigation into drug dealing led to two arrests and the seizure of several drugs and drug paraphernalia from an address on South Avenue on Friday.
Police have charged Warren Robichaud, 28, of 45.5 Ash Street in Nashua with possession of controlled drugs and possession with intent to distribute.
Sasha Marcotte, 27, of 4 Blueberry Lane in Londonderry, was charged with possession of a controlled drug and falsifying physical evidence.
Police, who received a search warrant for 22 South Avenue, say they seized a small quantity of heroin, prescription drugs, psilocybin mushrooms and drug paraphernalia along with making the two arrests at the scene. Police also found a small child at the residence where Marcotte and Robichaud had been staying for the past few weeks.
Marcotte was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear before the 10th Circuit Court - Derry District on Aug. 27.
Robichaud was being held at the Rockingham County Jail on $2,500 cash bail pending his arraignment on Monday before the same court.
