Two collisions on Hooksett Road send people to the hospital Saturday
HOOKSETT - Several drivers and a passenger suffered minor injuries in two collisions on Hooksett Road on Saturday.
In the first case, a box truck hit a car early Saturday morning after trying to stop on ice at the intersection with Legends Drive, police said. The truck slid into the intersection and T-boned a car that was going straight on a green light. The Hopkinton driver did not appear to have suffered injury but was taken to the hospital to be checked out. The truck driver was not injured, police said.
Later in the day, a driver who was turning left from Hooksett Road onto Pleasant Street apparently failed to yield and hit an oncoming car. The passenger suffered an arm injury and was taken to the hospital along with the two drivers, who did not appear to have any significant injuries, police said.
