Two arrested in Rochester accused of dealing heroin in region


ROCHESTER - An investigation by the Strafford County Drug Task Force and Rochester and Somersworth police has led to the arrest of two people suspected of selling heroin in the area.
James Brown, age 28, of 37 Unity St. in Rochester, has been charged with two counts of sale of the controlled drug heroin, including sales in a school zone in Rochester which carries an enhanced penalty. Brown was held on $10,000 cash bail after being arrested on June 17.
Brown appeared in court on June 30 when his bail was converted to personal recognizance bail with acceptance of a program that monitors his whereabouts using GPS. He is currently being supervised by Strafford County Community Corrections, according to police.
Angela Hodgson, age 35, also of 37 Unity St. in Rochester, was charged with being an accomplice in connection with drug sales in Somersworth. Hodgson was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail. She is scheduled to appear in the Rochester Circuit Court on July 27th at 8 a.m.
