Two are injured in a motor cycle accident in Keene, didn't appear to be wearing helmets

KEENE — Initial reports indicated that the collision involving a motor cycle on Court Street may have been "road rage" between the motorist and a black vehicle but with the investigation, it is believed that there may have been mechanical failure on the motor cycle.

The motor cycle hit the curb and the and the passengers were thrown from the cycle.

The operator was identified as Gerald Rodier, 49, of Keene and his passanger, Samantha Page, 30, of Westmoreland.

Both passengers sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Cheshire Medical Center for treatment. It is believed that neither of them were wearing helmets.The collision is currently under investigation by Keene Police Collision Analysis Team.
