Turning the heat up: Highs in the 80s, 90s in NH this week
It's been a chilly month so far, but temperatures are on the way up.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny and breezy, with a northwest wind between 5 and 15 mph. Highs will reach the 70s statewide, including the seacoast, given the landbreeze.
Wednesday will be even warmer inland. A southwest wind between 5 and 10 mph will heat us into the mid and potentially upper 80s on Wednesday. However, a lighter wind will allow a seabreeze to develop. Coastal highs will mainly be in the 70s, coolest at the water's edge.
Hot weather arrives for everyone on Thursday. Highs likely reach the 90 degree mark in much of central and southern New Hampshire; 80s farther north. The seacoast will be included in the heat on Thursday, with a strong enough southwesterly wind fighting off the seabreeze.
Friday and this weekend it will start to turn cooler. The coast may be much cooler at times this weekend.
