Tully, New Hampton overpower Kents Hill

New Hampton logo.jpgLinebacker Seamus Tully spearheaded a dominating defensive performance to help the New Hampton School football team open its season with a 55-6 triumph at Kents Hill on Saturday

Quarterback Adam Enxing passed for two touchdowns and ran for another in the victory. Jordan Collier caught each of Enxing's TD passes.

Running back Isaiah White rushed for 2-4 yards and three touchdowns, which included a 94-yard TD run. White averaged 29 yards per carry. New Hampton also received a TD run from Ian Gobbi.

New Hampton's Jake Cohen scored a TD, made seven point-after kicks and recovered a fumble.

New Hampton will play at Proctor Academy on Friday night (6:30).

Tilton 18

Quarterback Jake Froehlich ran for two touchdowns and threw for another, but Tilton dropped its opener at Hebron (Maine) Academy on Saturday. Froehlich's second TD run pulled Tilton within two points, 20-18, but Hebron responded with a touchdown that sealed the victory.
