BOSTON - The courts released the surveillance photo and video of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev giving the camera the middle finger while in a federal court holding cell in July of 2013.
In the video, Tsarnaev fixes his hair, gives a peace sign, then puts up his middle finger. Prosecutors say it proves he has no remorse. The defense calls it a meaningless youthful gesture.
The family members of Sean Collier and Lingzi Liu on the stand describe the loss their families have felt.
Many survivors also testifying today about the life-altering injuries they suffered from the bombings.
The defense is expected to deliver their opening statements Monday. Testimony resumes tomorrow.
