Tsarnaev jury begins first full day of deliberations
BOSTON - The same twelve jurors who convicted Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on all 30 counts are now deciding whether he will spend the rest of his life in prison, or be sentenced to death.
The jury deliberated for less than an hour Wednesday evening. Thursday is the first full day of deliberations.
Jurors are working with a 24-page verdict slip that details the 17 capital counts and various steps they must agree on before deciding on life or death.
As of late Thursday morning, the jury already had two questions for the judge.
They wanted clarification of the instruction of how to go about filling out the verdict slip.
