True identity of serial killer who dumped bodies in barrels in NH has been determined
CONCORD - Authorities have determined the true identity of a serial killer who dumped several bodies in barrels in Allenstown and murdered a woman in California.
The New Hampshire Attorney General's office said Friday that they used DNA from an adult believed to be Robert "Bob" Evans' child.
That DNA confirmed Evans' true identity to be Terry Peder Rasmussen.
Rasmussen was born in 1943 in Denver, Colorado.
Work is still being done to identify several of his victims.
