Troy woman indicted on charges of embezzling over $50,000 in Mass. library funds
ASHBURNHAM, Mass. - A New Hampshire woman has been indicted on charges of embezzling over $50,000 in library funds from the town of Ashburnham, Mass.
Cheryl Paul-Bradley, 54 of Troy is the former library director in the town. According to Telegram.com, a grand jury handed down the indictment on March 25.
Paul-Bradley was charged with three counts of fraud or embezzlement by a city, town or county officer, two counts of forgery and two counts of uttering, crimes allegedly committed on various dates from on or about March 8, 2010, through on or about July 2, 2014.
Paul-Bradley resigned from her position in July of 2014 while investigators were looking in to the library's finances.
