BRENTWOOD - WMUR-TV reporter Audrey Cox’s trial for allegedly striking a woman while driving under the influence is scheduled to begin next week, according to Seacoastonline.com.
The 53-year-old Lowell native has been charged with three Class B felonies after she allegedly struck 79-year-old Sandra Dary at Hampton Beach last year.
Jury selection will begin on Monday for Cox who faces two counts of aggravated driving while intoxicated or operating under the influence of liquor with serious bodily injury and one count of reckless conduct.
Cox’s attorney, Andrew Cotrupi, told the paper that evidence will show alcohol had no part in the accident and that his client is completely innocent.
