Trial for man accused of kicking 17-year-old Chihuahua to death begins in Keene

JAFFREY — The trial for a Keene businessman arrested on animal cruelty charges will begin this week.

Toby Tousley, 55 of Keene, is accused of kicking a 17-year-old Chihuahua to death.

Tousley allegedly kicked the dog, which wandered into the yard of a rental property on Carroll Street in October 2015.

The dog became unresponsive and later died.

Tousley, a prominent businessman in Keene, owns Tousley Property Management and registered the "NH Pumpkin Festival."
