Town on alert as possible suspicious vehicle approaches Plaistow teen

PLAISTOW- Police are urging the public to report any suspicious activity after a teenage girl was approached by a man in a truck on Harriman Road.

The girl's mother said, the 13-year-old was in the driveway when a pickup truck pulled up and blocked her in. The girl was scared, she ran inside and called her mom who then called police. The driver took off.

Police say there was another report of a similar vehicle in town. It's described as a silver or charcoal pick-up truck lifted off the ground with Massachusetts plates.

The young girl didn't get a good look at the male driver, but another report describes him as a white male, 30's or 40's, bald, wearing sunglasses and a dark shirt.

Police say it is unclear if these incidents are related, or if what this man was doing when he pulled over near the girl's home.

Anyone with information is urged to call Plaistow Police at (603) 382-6816.
